Introduction

Dear fellow migraine sufferers,
If you’re reading this, you or someone you know probably suffers from migraines.
I didn’t set out to be a blogger, but  I’ve found some interesting information about why we get these headaches and what we can do to stop getting them as much!
I have to tell you right now that I’m not a medical expert and that none of the information on this blog is meant as medical advice.  Having said that, I hope that you will become better informed and able to get the right help after reading  these pages.
If I’m an expert at all, it’s in knowing what it feels like to suffer excruciating pain and to want it to stop. I’ve also shared the frustration that many have felt with not knowing where to turn for relief.
Well, you’ll be glad to know that there are some simple, natural things that I have found that have made a big difference in how I feel.
So, I invite you to read my posts, in which I will endeavour to cover these topics: the importance of magnesium, knowing how your hormones affect you, leaky gut (it’s almost as bad as it sounds J), exercise, why certain foods trigger our migraines: the enzyme many of us lack: MAO (A and/or B), head injuries, food and environmental sensitivities, sleep habits, finding a good medical practitioner and more.
All of these subjects have been discussed by various medical practitioners and you can find lots of information on the web, but in my many hours and years of experience looking for answers, I’ve never found one source that ties it all together. There are so many good sites and blogs out there, so don’t get me wrong, I’m not knocking them, but I’ve had lots of Aha moments lately, so I wanted to share these with you.
I hope you’ll find this material helpful

  1. Dear Blogger,
Your observations are most interesting. We have
a hypothesis which proposes that the liver is the (physiologiccal)source of migraine, add pinpoints the enzyme responsible for this disorder. Our study has been condensed to a 16 page narrative which we expect to have online by
summer of 2013. Migraine Unmasked: A New Theory.
    Watch for us.

    1. Thank you for your comment, I look forward to reading your study results. Unclogging my liver has helped me enormously, so I hope others can benefit too.
